Strand Biotech Company Limited is a high-tech Sino-US joint-venture. It's a research-based, dynamic and solutions-minded company. Strandbio focus on replacing and reforming traditional Chinese medicine and health care products with biotech and sustained high-tech, specializing in discovering efficacy but low side-effect anti-cancer medicines, cardiovascular medicines, anti-infectious medicines, anti-diabetes medicines, modern Chinese medicines, gene engineering medicines, mono-clone antibody medicines, drug delivery systems and so on.


We are practicing an effective administrative system, conducting R&D, so as to develop with the time. At present, an applied-biotech research institute and a joint-lab of secondary metabolic engineering cooperated with Chinese Academy of Science have been established, more proprietary medicines are under researching. At the same time, a Joint Research Center of Modern Chinese Medicine with China Pharmaceutical University has been founded. A co-development agreement on gene-engineering project with Peking University has been signed. By now, we have not only set up a cGMP plant, but also purchased a large-scale biotech factory.
